My Abbreviations of PhotoImpact commands are thus: R/c = Right click (or other click whichever you use)

Commands separated with a forward slash (/) = the order of the commands or the options within a command

Materials needed:

3 Tubes of your choice

Image for your BG

My Images and Font here

The Tube I have used was Tubed by Mtm (Brigitta)

Font of your Choice.

Filters required:

FMTile Tools

Bordermania

Graphics Plus

Filter Unlimited

1. Open new image 600 x 500

2. Edit/ Fill/ Image/ Fit. Browse to the image you want to use

3. Effects/ FU/ VM Distortion/ tilomat 2000/ Default

4. Effects/ All/ Creative Warp/ Reset/ Template 10

5. Photo/ Enhance/ Diffuse Glow/ settings 12/ 7/ 2/ Use original Color checked

6. Effects/ Artistic/ Impressionist/ Settings: 70/ 20/ 5/ 40/40/ 80 Texture/ browse to the image you used.

7. R/C Copy R/C Paste

8. Easy Pallet/ Fill Gallery/ FadeOut/ 008. Double Click to Apply

9. R/C Properties/ Merge Mode to Multiply

10. R/C Merge All

11. R/C All

12. R/C Expand Shrink/ Shrink 10

13. R/C Invert

14. Effects BorderMania/ Frame #2. Settings: 4/ 4/ 110/130

15. R/C Merge All

16. R/C Copy

17. R/C Paste

18. Adjust Resize/ Selected Object/ 75%

19. R/C Align/ Center Both

20. Adjust Hue and Saturation. Colorize -32/ 0/ 0

21. Activate BG layer

22. Effects/ FMTile Tools Blend Emboss

23. Adjust Hue and Saturation. Colorize/ -32/ -32/ 0

24. Activate the middle Frame. R/C Merge

25. Open paho_WF.Ufo

26. R/C Copy R/C Paste into your working Image

27. Transform Tool/ Rotate and Flip/ Horizontally

28. Using the arrow keys move to the top left corner

29. R/C Properties Merge Mode/ Hard Light

30. Eraser Tool size 80/ Transparency 39/ Soft Edge/ 50. Click around the edge to eliminate the white edge

31. Effects/ FMTile Tools/ Blend Emboss

32. Open paho_Tree.ufo. R/C Copy

33. R/C Paste into canvas

34. Move to top right corner

35. Using the eraser tool again with same settings tidy up the image from outside the inner frame

36. Lower Transparency to 17

37. Open Mtm_Lady-193-Hopeless

38. R/C Copy R/C Paste into your working canvas

39. Adjust/ Resize/ selected Object/ 40%

40. Transform Tool Rotate and Flip Horizontally

41. Position her to the lower right of the inner frame with her hem outside the inner frame and her hand resting on the tree

42. R/C Shadow Default Icon/ Settings: 10/ 10/ 50/ 100/ 5

43. R/C Split Shadow

44. Activate the shadow and erase the shadow from her feet. (so she doesn't look like she is floating!!)

45. Hold Shift and Select lady ( Both shadow and lady are now selected)

46. R/C Merge as a Single Object

47. Effects/ FM Tile Tools/Blend Emboss

48. Photo/ Sharpen/ 1st preview

49. Text Tool/ Mode 3D Round/ Color/ Pick Color from your image. Type in your words.

50. R/C Shadow/ 2/ 2/ 20/ 100/ 2

51. R/C Merge All

52. Add your watermark.

1. Original image Selection All. R/C Convert to an Object. R/C Copy

2. Edit/ Paste as a New Image

3. Crop tool. Crop this image to eliminate the white line which is the border around it.

R/C Merge All.

4. R/C Copy

5. Original Image. Adjust Expand Canvas/ 25/ Expand sides Equally

6.Activate original image R/C Align/Center Both

7. R/C Paste back into original image

8. Adjust/ Resize/ 40%

9. R/C Align/ Top

10. R/C Align/Left this square should now be at the top left corner

11. Alt + Down Arrow. This will send this layer to the back.

12. Shift + D

13. R/C Align Right

14. Shift + D

15. R/C Align Bottom

16. Shift + D

17. R/C Align Left

18. R/C Deselect all Objects

19. Edit/ Fill/ Color/ Use the color you used for your Font

20. R/C Copy

21. Effects/ FU/ Special Effects 1/ Venetian Blinds Vertical Settings 221/19.

22. R/C Paste

23. Repeat Step 21 but use Venetian Blinds Horizontal/ Same settings

24. Transform tool /Resize. Resize this so it is shorter than the BG Blind but as wide as the canvas

25. Alt + Down Arrow 4 times.

Now you should have Vertical blinds showing at the top and bottom and horizontal blinds at each side in the gaps between the corner squares we made.

26. Blend Emboss both layers

27. Select the Inner Image. R/C shadow/ 5th Icon/ Settings: 50/ 103/ 10

28. R/C Merge All

29.Adjust/ Expand Canvas/ 2/ color again use your font color

30. Save as a .jpg
